Writing in the Native Tongue

What does it mean to write away from home? How do we trust our author's voice to tell a story across cultural and language borders?

Writing in the Native Tongue will explore the immigrant experience of writing in our home languages; creole, and dialect tongues in colonized spaces.

Participants will explore writing authentic and native tongue dialogue; the importance of trusting voice and not fearing the audience having to do some work.

Facilitated by Teneile Warren
